Beny Dishon

I was born in and still live in Chennai, India.

I'm currently a Software Engineer at Maxapp GmbH, a Swiss software company I work with remotely. I first joined them during college as a part-time contract engineer, helping ship two of their SaaS products: DineEasy, a restaurant ordering and payments platform, and ewig, a wedding-planning platform. After an internship at Veryon, they brought me back. These days I work across both platforms with the team, and recently helped build and launch PayMatch, a Swiss QR-invoicing platform.

I design and build web products end to end. I care as much about how they look as how they hold up underneath, and I am usually the one doing both.

Lately I have been moving toward AI engineering, mostly embeddings and retrieval, local models, and agent tooling. Most of what I know came from building Haypile. It runs a transformer inside a single binary with no network calls.

On the side I'm building Lensdrop and Klef. I ship both solo, writing most of the code through conversation with a model.

I studied Computer Science Engineering at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.
